Public Advocate Gotbaum's Statement on the

Three Kings Day Celebration

MANHATTAN- Today, Public Advocate Betsy Gotbaum released the following statement, in Spanish and in English, on the Three Kings Day Celebration in New York City.

La Defensora del Pueblo Betsy Gotbaum dice, "Todos los años, la Parada de Los Tres Reyes magos celebra la cruzada simbólica de ellos sobre El Puente con regalos de Paz, Justicia y Derechos Humanos. No es solamente un festival, parte de la tradición latina, si no une a los residentes de Nueva York que vienen de diferentes culturas en el espiritu de paz y aceptación."

Public Advocate Betsy Gotbaum said, “Each year, the Three Kings Parade celebrates the symbolic crossing of the three wise men over El Puente with gifts of Peace, Justice and Human Rights. Not only is this festival a cornerstone of Latino traditions, but it brings together New Yorkers from all different backgrounds in the spirit of peace and acceptance.”
