Statement by Public Advocate de Blasio on the Death of Ramarley Graham

As a parent myself, my heart goes out to the Graham family. We need answers and we need them quickly regarding the tragic death of Ramarley Graham. As Commissioner Kelly has noted, there are serious questions about this incident. Part of the healing process for the Graham family, and for the city as a whole, derives from a fair, speedy and transparent investigation. That work should begin immediately.
