Statement by Public Advocate de Blasio on City Commitment to Turn over 9/11 Cancer Data
February 15, 2012
“I am thankful the Administration is finally loosening its grip on the data needed to link cancer among our first responders to exposure at Ground Zero. This is a step in the right direction, but we won’t declare victory until the City actually turns over its records and these brave men and women get the justice they deserve. The clock is still ticking towards the March 2nd deadline, and I intend to hold this Administration’s feet to the fire to ensure they deliver as promised.”
