Eviction Predicaments

If you receive notice that you will be evicted in 72 hours, contact your landlord and a lawyer immediately. And if your belongings have already been seized, your landlord or the Marshal's office can tell you how to get them back.

City Marshal, Bureau of Investigation
If you receive notice that you will be evicted in 72 hours, contact your landlord and a lawyer immediately. (Call the local Legal Aid/Legal Services office for affordable representation.) You can also contact the City Marshal, whose name and phone number appear on the eviction notice. And if your belongings have already been seized, your landlord or the Marshal's office can tell you how to get them back. If you think someone in the Marshal's office has acted improperly, call the Marshal Bureau of Investigation.

Dial 311.
