Financial Aid for
Children's Health Care

If your child is uninsured, he or she may be elegible for publicly funded insurance or subsidized treatment of specific conditions.



Child Health Plus
New York State funds Child Health Plus, a health insurance program for children under 19. The insurance covers all preventive, primary and emergency care for children who do not have private health insurance and do not qualify for Medicaid.

Physically Handicapped Children's Program
If your child is uninsured, you can get help paying for treatment of conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and speech and hearing disorders from the New York City Physically Handicapped Children's Program.
