Hunger

Food and Hunger Hotline
The Food and Hunger Hotline provides emergency referrals to more than 600 soup kitchens and food pantries across the city. The hotline provides information on the hours of operation and gives travel directions to program sites.

In 2005, more than 14 million pounds of food were distributed to these programs.

Multilingual operator assistance available Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; automated assistance available 24 hours a day.
