On the Road
Whether you are going crosstown, cross-Bronx, or across the East River, the NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) provides safe and efficient travel around town. DOT's reach includes the construction and upkeep of City streets, sidewalks, City-owned bridges, and City- and state-owned limited-access highways. DOT also maintains street signs, traffic signals, streetlights and parking facilities.
