Tree Needs

New York City Department of Parks and Recreation
Contrary to the image most out-of-towners have of the City, millions of trees grow in Brooklyn... and the other four boroughs. The NYC Department of Parks and Recreation tends all the City's trees, including the trees that line many New York streets. If you report a fallen or dead tree, the Parks Department will remove it. In emergency situations, service can be quick.
