Victim Services
The Crime Victims Board helps eligible crime victims pay bills
associated with the crime. To qualify, you must be over 60 years
old or disabled, or hurt by the crime. The Board will also pay
the costs for a funeral if a person dies as the result of a violent
crime.

The New York City Gay and Lesbian Anti-Violence Project, a community-based
organization, provides short-term counseling, referrals and advocacy
for lesbians and gay men who are victims of bias or violence.
