Teenagers 14 to 18 years old who work must have working papers. Call the Working Papers Office of the Board of Education. An automated message tells you what to do to obtain working papers. You will need the following four items: application form, a doctor's note of good health, proof of age, and a social security number. Once you have assembled your paperwork, you must go to the Central Brooklyn Office of the Board of Ed to get working papers.
